Álvaro Porras (Ciudad Real, 1992) trabaja en torno a la reunión de referencias contextuales e historiográficas. Su producción, desde distintos cuerpos materiales, pero consecuente con los procesos de representación pictóricos, atiende a ciertos relatos culturales específicos y a la búsqueda e interpretación de sus códigos simbólicos.
Es doctor en Arte: Producción e Investigación, graduado en Bellas Artes, máster en Investigación en Prácticas Artísticas y Visuales y máster en Historia del Arte Contemporáneo y Cultura Visual.

His production, stemming from various material bodies but consistent with pictorial representation processes, addresses certain specific cultural narratives and the search for and interpretation of their symbolic codes.
He holds a Ph.D. in Art: Production and Research, a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, a Master’s degree in Research in Artistic and Visual Practices, and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture.
